My name is Stacey. I am competent Nurse Practitioner that can deliver a community based safe ear wax removal service.
My background - I am a qualified Nurse Practitioner within the field of Primary Care/ General Practice. I have worked for the NHS doing various nursing roles over the last 25 years. From Healthcare, A+E, Surgical, Research, District Nursing and then a District Nurse Sister.
Over the last 4 years I have gone onto Advanced Nursing Practice where I have learned skills and competencies in ear care assessment, treatment, and management. I am also an independent prescriber. I am registered with the (NMC) Nursing Midwifery Council. I therefore realise the impact of hearing loss and the swift action needed to clear the ear canal to minimise discomfort.
